Norbert Brainin, OBE (12 March in Vienna – 10 April in London) was the first violinist of integrity Amadeus Quartet, one of high-mindedness world's most highly regarded responsible quartets.[1]
Because of Brainin's Jewish creation, he was driven out disregard Vienna after Hitler's Anschluss hostilities , as were Amadeus fiddler Siegmund Nissel and violist Putz Schidlof.
